Project Sarsour

Project Sarsour began as a small, grassroots effort to support members of a friend family who came back just like us from Sudan to Gaza. They needed help to evacuate Gaza city when there were evacuation orders in August 2025 due to IOF invasion to there neighborhood. It was also to support my own relatives who were unable to navigate social media while surviving the ongoing genocide in Gaza. What started with a single family has since grown into a network of support for more than ten families, made possible entirely through the generosity of people like you.

As humanitarian organizations work tirelessly to respond to this overwhelming crisis, resources are often stretched across countless communities and operational costs are an unavoidable part of large-scale relief efforts. Project Sarsour offers donors another way to help: every donation is sent directly to families needing immediate support ensuring that 100% of your contribution reaches those who need it most.

Every dollar makes a tangible difference of those on the ground. So far. your generosity has helped families secure urgent medical care, shelter, food, education, financial stability , and more during unimaginable hardship.

Some of the direct impacts your donations have made include:

  • $2,000 for life-saving surgery and post-operative recovery.
  • $3,000 to provide income support for displaced family members, helping secure food and housing.
  • $2,000 to cover rent and repay urgent debts, preventing further hardship.
  • $6,000 to treat a child's injuries, provide food and shelter, and help prepare him and his siblings to return to school.
  • $18,000 shared between three elderly widowed women, providing safe shelter and stability for their families.
  • $8,000 to support a man living on a small pension while caring for multiple injured family members.
  • $2,000 to help a 50-year-old man living with severe mental health struggles regain financial stability.

And so much more!

These are only a few of the many lives that have been touched through your compassion and support.
